Meet Connor Cox
Staff Accountant
At Sonobi, we take immense pride in our dedicated team members who contribute to the success and positive culture of our company. As we embrace the final quarter of the year, we are delighted to shine the spotlight on one of our standout employees, Connor Cox, our Staff Accountant.
Connor Cox is quick to acknowledge what he values most about Sonobi: the overall positive culture and the people who make it all possible. He recognizes that a supportive and upbeat work environment is the key to our continued success.
In his role as Staff Accountant, Connor plays a crucial role in the financial operations of the company. He works closely with Adriana and Joey, overseeing the Accounts Payable email and providing essential support to publishers with payment and billing inquiries. Additionally, Connor diligently reviews vendor bills and invoices.
In the realm of Accounts Receivable, Connor is responsible for sending out invoices to our valued customers for our Winter Park and Kansas City products. He’s also actively involved in handling daily cash transactions, month-end reconciliations, and assists with payroll processing. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to his responsibilities ensure the financial gears at Sonobi keep turning smoothly.
One of Connor’s standout achievements is particularly noteworthy. He successfully navigated a challenging situation with a vendor, negotiating an early termination of a contract that ultimately saved Sonobi money. His dedication and problem-solving skills directly impact our company’s bottom line.
When he’s not crunching numbers and managing financial matters, Connor loves spending quality time with his family. He’s a proud husband and father to a vibrant three-year-old daughter named Alice. The Cox family shares a love for boating, making the most of their time on the water.
In addition to his family time, Connor enjoys staying active and competing in a weeknight baseball league. His fastball still packs a punch, clocking in at around 85 mph on occasion.
Connor Cox’s dedication, positive attitude, and knack for problem-solving make him a true asset to the Sonobi family. I’ve lived in Florida my entire life, even have a tattoo of an alligator to prove it!
Cat or Dog:
More of a cat person but have both, two cats and one dog. Their names are Kitty, Tiggy, and Bella. Kitty is my favorite, he is almost 8 and I’ve had him since college. Go Noles!
