Sonobi CEO & Co-Founder Michael Connolly Selected As Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur Of The Year” Finalist

Sonobi, a leading independent ad technology developer, announces today that its CEO & Co-Founder Michael Connolly has been selected as a finalist in the EY’s prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year” Florida Awards Program. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellent and extraordinary success in areas such as financial performance and innovation. It is the only competitive awards program in the world for entrepreneurs and leaders of high growth companies.

Judges for this prestigious honor include previous award recipients, leading CEOs, private equity and venture capital investors, and other business luminaries. Regional award recipients are eligible for the EY “Entrepreneur of the Year” National Awards in Fall 2016.

In this program, EY has previously honored the inspirational leadership of entrepreneurs such as Howard Schultz of Starbucks, John Mackey of Whole Foods Market, Pierre Omidyar of eBay, and Reid Hoffman and Jeff Weiner of LinkedIn Corporation.

This year’s Honorees will be celebrated at a black-tie gala held on June 9th at the Straz Center in Tampa, Florida.

Michael is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Sonobi. With over 10 years of leadership and management experience, Michael has spent his career focused on developing unique and innovative software solutions for advertising technology, online web and mobile applications, with fully automated and executed revenue models.

A serial entrepreneur, he co-founded Digital Tech Publishing in 2009, which was later acquired in 2012. Digital Tech was an innovative software company that built online web applications, reaching over 30 million unique visitors per month and serving 1.5 billion ad impressions per month.

Michael is a former ARMY CPT, Blackhawk helicopter pilot, and Iraq War veteran. He was recognized as one of Florida’s most successful young executives under 40 by Orlando Business Journal in 2013 and holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Philosophy from State University of New York at Albany.
